Care Guide
Care, with intention
Your clothing deserves care. Treating each piece with attention helps it last longer- and look better over time. From soft knits to structured denim, every fabric has its own needs. Below, you'll find simple guidelines to help you care for your garments and enjoy your favorite pieces for years to come.
Color care
Deep shades like burgundy, navy, and forest green may transfer onto lighter fabrics -especially before the first wash. Be mindful when wearing or washing them with lighter items.
We recommend always washing dark colors together to preserve the integrity of lighter tones.
The essentials
Whenever possible, skip the dryer. Heat and friction can weaken fabrics, cause shrinkage, and fade color. Air drying is gentler on your clothes - and better for the environment.
Wash garments with similar colors to avoid unwanted color transfer. Keep darks, lights, and brights separate.
Cotton
Loved for its comfort and breathability, cotton is a staple across many of our pieces - from T-shirts to knitwear.
- Wash at 30°C to maintain shape and prevent shrinkage
- Use a mild detergent and avoid bleach
- Iron on a medium setting if needed
Natural fibers
Natural materials such as cotton, linen, and wool are breathable, comfortable, and made to age beautifully- when cared for properly.
- Wash at lower temperatures to preserve the fibers
- Use mild, preferably eco-friendly detergents
- Avoid over-washing; airing garments is often enough
- Air dry to maintain shape and texture
Each natural fiber behaves differently, so always check the care label when in doubt.
Wool
Wool requires a softer approach. It's naturally delicate, and caring for it properly will keep it looking its best.
- Wash with wool only - avoid mixing with heavier items like denim or jackets
- Hand wash or use a cold, gentle cycle
- Lay flat to dry to maintain shape
- Use a detergent designed specifically for wool
Over time, pilling may occur. This is a natural process - use a fabric shaver to refresh the surface.
Synthetics
Fabrics like polyester and nylon are chosen for their durability and ease of care.
- Wash with a mild detergent
- Avoid high heat when ironing to prevent damage
Viscose
Lightweight and fluid, viscose benefits from gentle care.
- Wash on a delicate cycle with mild detergent
- Avoid bleach
- Iron on low heat, preferably while slightly damp
- Gently reshape while wet if needed
With the right care, your garments will stay with you longer. Thoughtful maintenance not only preserves each piece - it also supports a more conscious way of dressing.
